Immigration Lawyer - Reference IM26

Centrefield is recruiting for a junior/mid-level immigration lawyer to join its growing immigration practice.

The Role:

  • Work in an exciting immigration practice with industry experts in a market-leading firm;
  • High quality, varied and interesting immigration work across the sport and media sectors;
  • Chance to build on experience and skills through a rare opportunity to have a day-to-day involvement in a sought-after sector;
  • Casework including personal and business immigration cases, with a particular focus on applications under the work routes of the Points Based System;
  • Advising clients on Home Office sponsorship rules and the use of the sponsor management system;
  • Advising clients on settlement and British citizenship applications;
  • Keeping up to date on changes to Home Office policies / procedures;
  • Providing updates to clients;
  • Actively participating in business development, driving new firm initiatives and helping to grow and shape the firm’s immigration work with the existing team.

Specific Role Requirements:

  • NQ to 4 years PQE (although we will consider outstanding candidates outside this range);
  • Good experience working on a variety of visa / immigration cases and a good working knowledge of the Immigration Rules; and
  • Experience advising on sports and media related matters is desirable, but not essential.
